Stadium Experience, the membership organisation that represents over 45 football clubs in the UK has appointed a new Chair and Vice Chair. During their bi-monthly membership meeting held at Walsall Football Club in March, Tony Watson, Head of Non Matchday Sales for Sodexo at Everton Football Club was elected Chairman and Kyle De Klerk, Business Development Manager for Chelsea Football Club was elected Vice Chair. As well as providing clients with a free service Stadium Experience is a well represented membership organisation with a collaboration of 45 football clubs in the UK and expanding, including the country’s most famous stadia such as Wembley, Emirates, Liverpool’s Goodison Park and Anfield and Manchester Uniteds, Old Trafford to name a few. Football stadia are often overlooked as potential venues for conferences, meetings and events because they are in some cases purely associated with sport and are not recognised as the fabulous venues they really are. Stadium Experience is keen to spread the word that these unique venues are the perfect place for many types of events, and can offer more then your average hotel or conference centre. “Stadium Experience is helpful in raising the profile of football stadia as multi purpose venues able to host quality events and conferences as opposed to purely accommodating football matches” Shirley Pinn of Stadium Experience commented, “They have so much to offer every corporate client.” Tony Watson from Sodexo at Everton said “In the current financial climate, companies need to be sure that when they choose a venue for their event or conference that they are getting good value.
