Sodexho Prestige has been announced as one of the official Corporate Hospitality Agents for one of the largest sporting events in the world.

 

The Rugby World Cup 2007 will be the sixth Tournament, and will represent the 20-year anniversary of the event. The Tournament will be held in France and continues to grow in popularity and support.

 

The corporate hospitality packages for the event will be launched in March 2006.  Sodexho Prestige has appointed Joe Troedson as Director for Sales, Rugby World Cup 2007. Joe comes from Quinns Rugby Club where he was commercial manager for sales, hospitality and sponsorship. Joe will be responsible for developing Sodexho Prestige's sales strategy.

 

Sodexho Prestige has vast experience in international sporting events having provided catering, ticketing and transport services for the last Rugby World Cup in Australia in 2003 and provided 50,000 meals a day to spectators, athletes and officials at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester in 2002, as well as corporate hospitality at the 2000 Sydney Olympics
